The forms of communication have evolved a lot during in the recent times. Now days a form of distant communication is gaining new ground. It is known as telepresence which is achieved through a telepresence system. It is a revolutionary form of communication for the new age.
The purpose of a telepresence system is to enable you to arrange a meeting with other people sitting in distant places. The system allows you to feel as if you are present at a distant location. The system also allows you to effect the things at another location apart from your native location.
In first case you can communicate with other people located at distant locations, like you are sitting with them. They can see you speaking and listen to your voice simultaneously. In the second case the telepresence system allows you to transmit your moments and actions along with visuals and sounds to be transmitted to a distant location. This way you can move things in that distant location with the help of sensors and robotics.
There are two popular types of telepresence systems. The first one is a completely portable system and the second is the immersion system that is based in a single room.
Usually the telepresence system includes, a high definition codec supported by a set of flat panel screens and high definition audio speakers. The price largely depends upon the size of the system and functionality expected out of the system.
